This is one of those easy comfort dinners you can start with almost no prep. Frozen ravioli, frozen meatballs, marinara, and cream cheese cook together in the crockpot until the sauce turns creamy and the pasta is tender. Finish it with mozzarella if you want it extra cheesy.
Ingredients
- 1 bag frozen ravioli, cheese or beef
- 1 bag frozen meatballs
- 1 jar marinara sauce, about 24 ounces
- 1 block cream cheese, cubed
- Shredded mozzarella cheese, optional, for topping
- Fresh basil or parsley, optional, for serving
Instructions
- Spray the inside of the crockpot lightly with nonstick spray if desired.
- Add the frozen ravioli, frozen meatballs, marinara sauce, and cubed cream cheese to the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
- Stir gently about once every hour so the sauce gets creamy and the ravioli cooks evenly. Try not to break up the ravioli too much.
- When the ravioli is tender and the meatballs are hot all the way through, sprinkle mozzarella over the top if using.
- Cover for a few more minutes, just until the cheese melts, then serve warm.
Tips
- If the sauce gets too thick, stir in a splash of water, broth, or extra marinara.
- Use mini meatballs if you want easier scooping and serving.
- This is best served right away, but leftovers reheat well with a little extra sauce.
