This smoked meatloaf keeps the cozy classic flavor but adds a smoky BBQ finish.
Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp BBQ rub
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
Directions
- Heat smoker to 250 degrees F.
- Mix beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, onion, garlic, Worcestershire, BBQ rub, salt, and pepper.
- Shape into a loaf on a sheet of foil or a grill-safe pan.
- Smoke for about 2 hours, until the center reaches 150 degrees F.
- Mix ketchup, BBQ sauce, and brown sugar. Brush over the loaf.
- Continue smoking until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.
- Rest 10 minutes before slicing.
