White chocolate chip cookies

These white chocolate chip cookies are soft in the middle, golden around the edges, and loaded with melty white chocolate in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Mix in egg and vanilla.
  4. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt just until combined.
  5. Fold in white chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop dough onto the baking sheet.
  7. Bake 9 to 11 minutes, until edges are lightly golden and centers look just set.
  8. Cool on the pan for 5 minutes, then move to a rack.
